Ravindra Jadeja congratulated wife Rivaba on winning Jamnagar seat in Gujarat Assembly elections.
Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja credited the Indian cricketer for his victory in the Gujarat Assembly election 2022, as she made an impressive debut into politics by winning in the Jamnagar North constituency by 88110 votes on December 8.
Following her victory, Rivaba also revealed how the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi jokingly lauded Jadeja’s efforts throughout the assembly election in her quest to become an MLA.
Well, the Indian all-rounder is known as one of the best fielders in the world, and PM Modi displayed his sense of humour to laud Jadeja by adding cricketing tadaka, as he said “you must have never done fielding like this before”.
In an interaction with ANI, Rivaba Jadeja said: “I want to give credit to him for this victory as well. As my husband, he was always stood by my side. He motivated me and that’s a big thing for me.”
She added, “This was a first-time experience for him and when Modiji came, he commented on a lighter note that ‘you (Ravindra) must have never done fielding like this before.’ He (Ravindra) did whatever he could for me.”
Later, Jadeja congratulated wife Rivaba with a special post on social media. Sharing a picture with his MLA wife, the Indian cricketer wrote on Twitter: “Hello MLA, you really deserve it. The people of Jamnagar have won. I express my gratitude to all the people from the bottom of my heart... the works of Jamnagar will be very good.”
