Pujara is currently in England turning the heat up while playing for Sussex in the County Championship and the Royal London one-day Cup. He has scored 614 runs in 8 matches with an average of 102.33 and strike rate of 116.28 with 3 centuries and 2 fifties to his name with the best score of 174. This also includes 132 off 90 balls against Middlesex, and 107 against Warwickshire.
In the county championship, Pujara has 1094 runs in 8 matches with 5 centuries including 3 double tons to his name.
Nevertheless, during this fun AMA session, one of the fans asked him what are his goals to which Pujara gave a measured reply. “What are your goals for the rest of your career?,” asked one of the users.
“I like being in present and don’t set too many goals for the future but winning the WTC title is one,” he replied.
Pujara is a one-format player for India, appearing only in Test matches, and was part of the final of the 2021 World Test Championship which India lost to New Zealand.
Another question that Pujara was asked by a fan was about his favorite innings.

Pujara went for 92 from 221 balls, after coming into bat at the fall of Abhinav Mukund’s wicket and put up crucial partnerships with KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, and a 118-run stand with Ajinkya Rahane. He helped India put 274 on the board in the second innings and thanks to brilliant bowling from R Ashwin (6/41), India won the Test by 75 runs successfully defending the 188-run target.
