Pakistan team met visited iconic football club AFC Ajax.
Pakistan team is currently on their tour to the Netherlands for a three-match ODI series. The visitors have taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the series with one match to go.
While they have displayed a sensational performance on the field, they are also having quality time off the field. Players have been sharing various pictures on their social media, which clearly depicts that they are enjoying their time in the country.
Recently they visited iconic football club AFC Ajax, where they met legendary Dutch goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar, who is currently the CEO of the club, and skipper Dusan Tadic. Players of both teams swapped signed shirts and interacted with each other.
However, at the time of interaction, Shadab Khan uniquely introduced Babar Azam. He called the Pakistan skipper the mixture of both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
“He is Cristiano [Ronaldo] and Messi, mixture [of both],” said Shadab while pointing towards Babar, as he introduced the premier batter.
Ajax FC also shared a picture on their official Twitter account with the caption “When football meets cricket.”
With the series already being sealed by the visitors, they would be looking to complete the whitewash when they take on the Netherlands in the dead-rubber third ODI on Sunday (21st August).
