Zimbabwe won the second ODI by 5 wickets to go 2-0 in 3-ODI series.
Zimbabwe captain Regis Chakabva won the toss and chose to field first. Mahmudullah’s 80* and Captain Tamim’s 50 were the main scores in Bangladesh’s 290/9 in 50 overs. Afif Hossain made 41 and Najmul Hossain contributed 38 runs.
For Zimbabwe, Sikandar Raza picked 3/56, and Wessly Madhevere took two wickets.
Hasan Mahmud gave Bangladesh the best possible start as he removed Takudzwanashe Kaitano for a duck and Innocent Kaia for 1 run, while Tadiwanashe Marumani made 25 runs. As Zimbabwe found themselves in trouble at 49/4, Raza and captain Chakabva came together to rebuild the innings and take Zimbabwe towards the win.

The duo added 201 runs for the 5th wicket with Chakabva making 102 in 75 balls with 10 fours and 2 sixes, while Raza scored his second consecutive century in this series, following his 135* with 117*with 8 fours and 4 sixes.
Tony Munyonga hammered 30* in 16 balls to help Zimbabwe cross the finishing line with 15 balls and 5 wickets in hand. With this win, Zimbabwe also pocketed the ODI series gaining a 2-0 lead with one more ODI to go, with them already winning the T20I series 3-0.
