KL Rahul is practicing at the NCA in Bengaluru to get fit for West Indies T20Is.
He went to Germany for surgery to correct the issue and has returned to India and has been training at the NCA in Bengaluru as he prepares for the upcoming West Indies T20I series.
Both he and Kuldeep Yadav have been named in the Indian squad for the five-match T20I series against the West Indies, but they will only fly to the Caribbean if they can prove their fitness at the NCA.
In a very unique moment, KL Rahul was seen facing off against legendary India women’s fast bowler Jhulan Goswami in nets at the NCA. The duo practiced together and a video is doing the rounds of Jhulan bowling to KL Rahul at the nets.
Check out the video here:
Jhulan holds the record for most wickets in women’s ODIs with 252 scalps to her name in 202 ODIs, 44 wickets in 12 Tests, and 56 wickets in 68 T20I matches. She made her debut for India in 2002 and last played for the country in the Women’s World Cup 2022 in New Zealand.
