A video of former Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed getting clean bowled by his son Abdullah is going viral on social media. Currently, the keeper-batter is out of contention for the national team, however, he remains the captain who won Pakistan their first ICC trophy in nearly a decade when they lifted the Champions Trophy in 2017.

The best thing for Pakistan was that they avenged their loss in the league stages to India, who had hammered them in the tournament and then bowled them out for a paltry total in the final at Lord’s.

Sarfaraz Ahmed also led Pakistan to the no.1 spot in the T20I rankings and all was well until Pakistan failed to qualify for the semi-finals in the 2019 World Cup. In the aftermath, he was criticized for his captaincy and leadership and even his batting form fell away.

This led to him losing captaincy of the team in all formats and then losing his spot to Mohammad Rizwan as first-choice keeper in the Pakistani team.

Sarfaraz had previously said that though his son Abdullah is highly interested in cricket, he does not wish for Abdullah to take up cricket because of the immense scrutiny and pressure that comes with it at the highest level.

However, Abdullah got the better of his father as in the video, he can be seen bowling a perfect yorker to Sarfaraz who failed to negotiate it and was clean bowled. The fans surrounding them during the game of street cricket cheered for Abdullah and Sarfaraz couldn’t help but smile at being outfoxed by his son.
