Babar Azam, the Pakistan captain, was trolled brutally after he posted a photo with a gun, while promoting a mobile game.

Azam recently led the Pakistani team in the historic series at home against Australia, in which the home side won the ODI series while losing the Test series 0-1 and the one-off T20I match as well.

The right-hander is considered to be one of the most talented batters of this era and is often compared with Indian legend Virat Kohli, for the similarities in their gameplay and run-scoring. In 40 Tests, Azam has 2851 runs with 6 centuries and a best of 196.

In 86 ODIs, Azam has made 4261 runs with 16 centuries and an average of 59.18 and a best of 158. He has also done well in T20Is, making 2686 runs in 74 matches with one century and 26 fifties at an average of 45.53.

However, on April 8, Babar Azam posted a black and white photo of himself holding an automatic gun, while promoting the mobile game ‘FreeFire’.

He posted, “Something very exciting coming up with @FreefirePkyt! Stay tuned to find out more about my next big collaboration with world’s most downloaded battle royale game. #FreeFireXBabarShadab”

However, his post turned out to be perfect material for Twitterati to make fun and troll the Pakistani captain, which they did whole heartedly and some even got creative with their posts as well.

Here are some of them:
