India batter Virat Kohli is not only a well-loved cricketer in India but his appeal and fandom stretch to all parts of the world. And this includes Pakistan as well, where the former India captain has hordes of fans.

An example of this was seen during Multan Sultans' encounter versus Quetta Gladiators in the ongoing PSL 2022 edition, a Pakistani fan expressed his desire to see Kohli hit a century in Pakistan.

Virat Kohli hasn't scored an international ton since late 2019. The 33-year-old's last triple-figure knock came during India's maiden day-night Test versus Bangladesh and since then, he hasn't managed to score a hundred across formats.

Kohli has fifty-plus scores in white-ball formats, he hasn't done anything extraordinary in the ongoing limited-overs home series versus Kieron Pollard-led West Indies. On the other hand, he averaged 28.21 in Tests in 2021.

"Every cricketer goes through this phase," Jaffer backs Kohli to score runs consistently

Virat Kohli is yet to play a match in Pakistan, where India hasn’t toured since 2008 and the two nations don’t share a cordial relationship enough for cricket to be played bilaterally. But Kohli does have a good record against the Men in Green in limited-overs cricket, while he is yet to play a Test against the neighbors.

He has scored 536 runs at an average of 48.72 in 13 ODIs against Pakistan and 311 runs in seven T20Is at an average of 77.75 but with a comparatively low strike rate of 118.25.

Therefore it was nice to see a Pakistani cricket fan wanting to see Virat Kohli play a match in Pakistan and score a century there.
