The commentator was in disbelief after the batting side succeeded in scoring five runs off final ball.
Fans got to witness an unusual finish in the Al-Wakeel Cricket League when a team scored five runs off the final ball to win the match. The video of the last delivery is going viral on social media.
We have seen a batting side scoring 6 runs off the last ball to seal a thriller cricket match. But the finish in this game was bizarre as the batter didn't hit a boundary to complete the run-chase.
It was a hilarious blunder from the fielding team which allowed the batting side to run five runs on the last ball of their run-chase. The team, AutoMall were going after a score of 155 runs in 20 overs.
Raheel Maje and Adeel Abid Sham were in the middle who successfully took their team to a two-wicket win over Audionic. The bowler pitched a full ball, which Maje managed to hit on the long-on.
Surprisingly, the long-on fielder decided to run to the pitch and then made a wild throw towards the keeper end which allowed AutoMall to complete the remaining runs.
The on-air commentator couldn't believe the brain-fade from the fielding side and he screamed, "Oh no… Will these be five runs? It is. They’ve won. Oh my god".
