Mohammad Rizwan and Virat Kohli had interacted during the T20 World Cup 2021.
Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan lauded India captain Virat Kohli and called him a 'really nice guy' after meeting him in 2021 T20 World Cup. Pakistan and India had faced each other in the tournament, and the latter were defeated by 10 wickets.
Rizwan, in a chat with Paktv.tv, recalled his interaction with the former India T20I captain. He said Kohli had jokingly asked them if they are trying to get India all-out under 10 overs after Pakistan took a review against Rishabh Pant in the T20 World Cup encounter.

The 29-year-old said they all are like a family when they play cricket together. "No doubt Virat Kohli is number one in the world. When we play cricket, we are all like a family. When we took a review against Pant after he played a reverse sweep, he (Kohli) said are you trying to get all of us out in 10 overs?", he said.
Rizwan further added that Kohli had said a few things when they were batting but it was part of his tactics. "When we were batting, he also said a few things. I can’t repeat the things that were said, but all I can say is that he is a really nice guy," he said.
India were crashed out of the tournament in the Super 12 stage, while Pakistan had qualified for the semi-final. The Babar Azam-led side later lost to Australia in the semi-final to end their campaign.
