The ball pitched on the good length and clipped the off-stump but what came as a surprise was, no one from the fielding side including on-field umpires noticed that ball hit the stumps and the batter continued to bat.
The commentary team was also surprised with the decision after they saw the reply which showed the bails clearly came off.
However, this decision didn’t cost Tasmanian Women Tigers much as batter Nicola Carey smashed an unbeaten century to help her side chase the target in 45.1 overs.
