BCCI unveiled the Indian team's new jersey for the T20 World Cup 2021 on Wednesday.
Burj Khalifa showcased a breathtaking LED display and honoured the Indian cricket team by lighting up in their colours. The iconic structure also featured Indian players such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, among others.
Taking to Instagram, India’s official kit sponsor – MPL Sports – shared a video of Burja Khalifa’s stunning view with the caption: “The Billion Cheers Jersey on Burj Khalifa. For the first time ever a Team India Jersey has gone up on the Tallest building in the world - Burj Khalifa! Time to #ShowYourGame and support Team India.”
BCCI on Wednesday (October 13) unveiled the Indian team's new jersey for the T20 World Cup 2021, slated to get underway in UAE and Oman from October 17.
The kit predominantly has deep blue colour with orange being the other shade in the collar part and the middle of the shirt with INDIA written on it.
For the T20 World Cup, Indian is slotted in Group 2 along with Pakistan, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and the two qualifiers from Round 1. The Men in Blue will start their campaign against Pakistan on October 24 in Dubai.
After facing the arch-rivals, India will play their group-stage match against New Zealand and Afghanistan on October 31 and November 3 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi respectively while their games against the two qualifiers will be held in Dubai on November 5 and November 8.
