Virat Kohli is a huge fan of the Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, who's an inspiration for many around the world, is in awe of Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. He has always praised Ronaldo and rates him above any other footballer in the world.
In a recent chat with Dinesh Karthik, who's working with SkySports for India's tour of England, Kohli said Lionel Messi might have better skill than Ronaldo, but the latter's mental strength and work ethic puts him above all.

"The thing I admire about him is he’s probably had people, I wouldn’t say disliking him, but disregarding a lot of what he has done over the years and just his mental strength to just keep going, just being the best in the world," Kohli told Karthik during the interview.
Kohli said that people expect Ronaldo to produce something special every time he walks into the field. He is himself someone who doesn't get bothered by the chatter outside the cricket ground.
“I agree Messi probably has more natural ability but for this guy to do what he’s done day in, day out and to keep that type of discipline. To stay at the top of his game for 15 years for me that is the epitome of professionalism and discipline and what mindset can do to an individual. Every time he plays people know something special could happen and that’s what I admire about him,” he added.
