Northamptonshire batsman Ben Curran smashed a fifty in a T20 Blast match against Durham on Wednesday (June 30). His brothers Tom Curran and Sam Curran were watching the live stream from the England team hotel and applauded his innings.
The moment was captured by England cricketer Sam Billings, who posted it on his Instagram story, and soon the clip went viral. Both the Curran brothers can be seen sitting together and filled with joy as their sibling played a destructive knock.
Ben scored 62 off 33 balls which included 11 fours and a six before getting out in the 10th over of their innings. He and Ricardo Vasconcelos added 101 runs for the first wicket as Northamptonshire posted 173/5 on the board.
They eventually won the match by 30 runs as Durham got bowled out for 143 runs in their 20 overs. Northamptonshire has played 11 matches and won only 4 in the tournament so far.
