David Warner posted a picture from the IPL 2016 on the fifth anniversary of their title win.
Former Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain David Warner recalled their Indian Premier League (IPL) title win in 2016 on Saturday (May 29). He posted a picture of him lifting the trophy and his teammates posing together after the win.
"OTD 2016 #memories #cricket #ipl #india our fans will always be loyal to us ❤️❤️," wrote Warner on his official Instagram account. SRH had defeated Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to win the title.

SRH had defeated RCB by 8 runs as Mustafizur Rahman (1/37) and Bhuvneshwar Kumar (0/25) were effective with the ball to defend the target of 209. Warner had scored 69 off 38 balls and Ben Cutting played a handy cameo of 15-ball 39* to take their total over 200.
Chris Gayle and Kohli gave RCB a good platform to capitalize with a 114-run opening stand, but they couldn't utilize the start and ended up scoring only 200/7 in 20 overs. Gayle had scored 76, while Kohli added 54 runs.
Warner was recently removed from the captaincy role in IPL 2021 after not a satisfying performance for SRH in the initial matches.
