Team India skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have raised nearly ₹11 crores in their fund-raising campaign to support Covid-19 relief work in India.
With COVID-19 wreaking havoc across the country Team India skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma started a campaign to raise funds for those in need, setting a target of a total of 7 crores on the crowdfunding platform, Ketto.

The couple themselves donated ₹2 crores and have managed to raise funds of INR 11 crores, surpassing their target by a handsome margin. The funds raised through the campaign will be donated to Act Grants to aid Covid-19 relief.
"The campaign received overwhelmed response from the people," a press release said.
MPL Sports Foundation, part of fantasy gaming company MPL, also donated ₹5 crores.
