India's cricket fraternity remembered the martyrs on the second anniversary of the Pulwama attack that took away the lives of 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans.
A group of vehicles carrying security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway was attacked by a suicide bomber at Lethpora in the Pulwama district. The suicide bomber was identified from Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan-based terrorist group.
Ex-India cricketer Virender Sehwag took to Twitter and remembered the sacrifice of India's heroes. "Heartfelt Tributes to all Our Bravehearts Martyred in the #PulwamaAttack on Feb 14, 2019. The valour and sacrifice of our heroes will be remembered forever. Jai Hind", he tweeted with a picture featuring the photos and names of martyrs.

The attack was condemned by the United Nations and countries from across the globe. Last year, two more arrests were made by NIA for allegedly procuring chemicals found in the IED used in the attack.
Former India batsman Wasim Jaffer posted a similar picture and expressed his condolence for the families of the martyrs.
"Remembering our heroes who sacrificed their lives for our country in Pulwama. Thoughts and prayers with the families of our martyrs.???? #pulwamamartyrs #PulwamaAttack", the tweet read.
