Sourav Ganguly complained of chest pain in Kolkata on Saturday.
BCCI president and former India captain Sourav Ganguly has been admitted to the Woodlands hospital on Saturday (January 2) after a suspected heart attack.
As per reports, the 48-year-old complained of uneasiness and chest pain while working out on Saturday morning. He is currently in stable condition.
An official from the hospital was also quoted by PTI: “He is stable now. We are checking whether this pain is due to some cardiac problem or not. He requires to undergo several tests.”
Ganguly received wishes for a speedy recovery from BCCI, his friends and ex-teammates on Twitter. He has a big fanbase and a lot of his admirers on social media also poured in their wishes.
BCCI quoted secretary Jay Shah's tweet and wished Ganguly a speedy recovery.
