Chakaravarthy missed the flight to Australia for the T20I series due to an injury.
In a video shared by his IPL franchise on Instagram, Chakaravarthy was seen playing cricket with his wife on stage.
"Big congratulations to @chakaravarthyvarun and @neha.khedekar from the Knight Riders Family as they begin their journey as husband and wife," KKR wrote on Instagram.
"Chakravarthy and Khedekar were originally scheduled to get married earlier this year, before the Coronavirus pandemic forced them to postpone the ceremonies, were staying in different cities at the time when the nation-wide lockdown was announced.
"While Varun was stuck in Chennai, with his area marked a containment zone around May-June, Neha spent the lockdown in Mumbai," KKR said in a statement.
After a fantastic showing in the IPL 2020, where he claimed 17 wickets in 13 matches, Varun Chakaravarthy was picked to play for India in the T20I series against Australia.
However, an unfortunate injury to his right shoulder ruled him out of the tour and the leg-spinner had to return India from UAE.
