KXIP all-rounders Neesham and Maxwell bonded well during the IPL 2020.
Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) all-rounder Jimmy Neesham called Glenn Maxwell a 'nice guy' in a podcast. The two gelled up well during the IPL 2020 and Neesham admitted to have a good bond with Maxwell.
But Neesham being himself didn't forget being cheeky on Twitter about it. The Kiwi jokingly said he was lying about Maxwell being a good guy in the podcast. The Aussie didn't disappoint and he played along with him.
"Jimmy had a lot to say because he was in quarantine. Also, he said the big show - Glen Maxwell - is a good guy.", wrote Andrew Mulligan, who shared the podcast on Twitter.

Neesham quoted the tweet and responded, "I lied @Gmaxi_32". Maxwell came up with a reply too and said he appreciates the honesty. "I appreciate it," read his reply.
Maxwell and Neesham, who played for KXIP, had an average IPL 13. Both failed to come in handy for their team. In fact, Maxwell would like to forget the tournament for letting his side down.
