IPL 2020: KXIP coach Wasim Jaffer's hilarious meme after KKR's exit from IPL 13
However, Jaffer became an internet and social media darling thanks to his meme game on Twitter. Jaffer used pop culture references in his replies to fans and as reactions to happenings during the entire IPL and amused his followers as well.
Recently, Australian pacer Mitchell Starc announced his return to the Big Bash League after 6 years, as he signed up with the Sydney Sixers franchise. Starc has also been a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise in IPL.
However, Wasim Jaffer used the opportunity to use a famous meme from web-series Mirzapur, in which a character Rati Shukla asks the protagonists Guddu and Bablu Pandit to join his gang. Shukla says, “Humko join kar lo, milke Mirzapur chalayenge”
Jaffer used the same dialogue in an effort to entice Starc into joining the KXIP camp for IPL 2021.
