West Indies Test captain and star all-rounder Jason Holder has arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take part in the ongoing 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.

Holder will join the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) set-up as replacement for the Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh in the ongoing IPL 2020 in the UAE.

Marsh was ruled out of the remaining matches of the IPL 13 after he twisted his ankle during SRH’s tournament-opener against Royals Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on 21st September.

On Saturday (September 26), SRH's official Twitter handle shared the news of Holder’s arrival in the UAE along with the picture of star all-rounder.

The franchise captioned the Twitter post: “Say Hi to @Jaseholder98”

Meanwhile, Holder will now have to be confined to his hotel room for six days to complete his mandatory quarantine as a precautionary measure against the COVID-19.

The West Indian star can join the rest of the SRH teammates at training for the lucrative T20 league only if returns with three negative COVID-19 tests in this time frame.

Noteworthy, the SRH suffered 10-run defeat in their first game of the IPL 2020 season against the RCB and now they would certainly look to make a strong comeback in their second match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday in Abu Dhabi.
