MS Dhoni is in Chennai for pre IPL 2020 camp and will fly to UAE with other players on August 21.
Since then Dhoni had not played any cricket of any kind and speculations were rife whether the selectors would consider him for T20 World Cup or not. However, with the T20 World Cup being postponed by a year due to Coronavirus pandemic, it is believed that Dhoni decided to call time on his career, given that he will be 40 by the time the tournament happens.

Meanwhile, he is gearing up to lead CSK in the upcoming IPL 2020 in the UAE and has already joined the camp in Chennai, from where he made his retirement announcement.
Meanwhile, his daughter Ziva is missing him already as Dhoni won’t be home till November now. Dhoni spent his time away from cricket and the COVID-19 lockdown with his family at his farmhouse in Ranchi.
