India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah has shared his excitement about the upcoming 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, as he can’t wait for the tournament to kickstart next month.

The IPL 2020 will take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 19 to November 10 with all the matches to be played at the bio-secure venues Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah. It will be for the second time when the UAE is hosting the IPL after 2014 due to the General Elections in India.
This time, the spike in the coronavirus cases across the nation forced the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to shift IPL to the UAE.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday (August 6), Bumrah shared a picture of him celebrating a wicket in Mumbai Indians (MI) jersey and wrote “It's almost time”.
Noteworthy, Bumrah has been a crucial part of the defending champions MI in the lucrative tournament as well as played a key role in the team’s record fourth title win last season.
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has also shared a similar post on Twitter to share his excitement about the IPL 2020. He captioned the post: “It's time. @ChennaiIPL #whistlepodu.”
Notably, the BCCI and title sponsors Vivo decided to suspend their partnership for IPL 13.
