Raksha Bandhan is one of the most popular festivals in India which signifies the bond between brother and sister. This year, the festival of love and affection is celebrated across the country on Monday (August 3).

In this festival, a sister ties a rakhi on her brother’s hand and prays for his healthy and wealthy life. In return, the brother also wishes for his sister’s good life, and gifts them goodies like dresses, chocolates, and other gift items.

Former and current Indian cricketers also celebrated the auspicious occasion and posted special messages for sisters on micro-blogging site Twitter.
