Yuzvendra Chahal was the first Indian bowler to pick a fifer in T20I - 6/25 vs England.
He first made name for himself after being picked up by Mumbai Indians in IPL 2011, but played only one game. He did help MI win the 2011 Champions League Twenty20 playing all matches and taking 2/9 against RCB. In 2014, he was bought by RCB and has gone on to become a major player for the franchise over the years.
He made his ODI and T20I debuts against Zimbabwe in 2016, but it was post the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, that he, along with Kuldeep Yadav were preferred in the limited overs scene over experienced duo of Ashwin and Jadeja.
Chahal meanwhile became the first Indian bowler to pick up a five-wicket haul in T20Is, when he picked 6/25 against England in 2016. He also holds the record for the best bowling figures by an Indian in ODIs in Australia- 6/42, a record he shares with Ajit Agarkar.
Chahal played for India in 2019 World Cup, picking 12 wickets and took his 50th T20I wicket against Bangladesh at home.
In IPL, he has 100 wickets in 84 matches with best of 4/25 at economy of 7.78.
Today as he celebrates turning 30, Chahal was flooded with wishes from Indian cricket fraternity on Twitter.
