Today, June 5, is the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima. The auspicious occasion marks the birthday of legendary Ved Vyas, who authored the Mahabharat. The festival is dedicated to the Gurus (teachers) who enlighten the lives of many with their knowledge and wisdom both academically and spiritually.
