Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is celebrating his 40th birthday. Popularly known as the ‘Turbanator’, Singh has been a constant presence in the Indian cricket scene for a long time.

Harbhajan Singh Plaha was born on July 3, 1980, in Jalandhar, Punjab. He made his India Test debut in 1998 against Australia and ODI debut the same year against New Zealand. He has been part of India’s 2007 World T20 and 2011 World Cup victories.

However, his crown jewel has been his 32 wickets in 3 Tests against Australia at home in 2001 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. During the epic Kolkata Test, he became the first Indian to take Test hat-trick and shouldered the bowling attack throughout the series.
