The world is united against racism after an unfortunate incident in America. On May 25, 2020, George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man suspected of passing a counterfeit $20 bill, died in Minneapolis, Minnesota after a police officer named Derek Chauvin pressed his knee to Floyd's neck for almost nine minutes.

Ex-India cricketer Sachin Tendulkar took Twitter to spread the words of South African anti-apartheid revolutionary Nelson Mandela.

Sports unite people irrespective of their race and religion. "Nelson Mandela once said, 'Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to unite the world in a way that little else does.' Wise words.", wrote Sachin.

In the video, the message says, "Without diversity, cricket is nothing. Without diversity, you don't see the full picture. The ICC stands against racism."

Celebrities have come forward to spread the message of unity with their fans on various social media platforms.
