Indian batsmen Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan have a good bonding on and off the field. The opening partners spend a lot of time whenever they are in the team together.

Rohit knows his friend very well and in a recent video chat of trio, including Mayank Agarwal, he shared a hilarious story from 2015.

Mayank was the one who requested Dhawan to sing his favorite Punjabi song during the chat. Rohit already knew which song he is going to sing and they both burst into laughter.

Later, Rohit recalled a funny incident from the year 2015 when they were playing against Bangladesh. He and Dhawan were placed in the slip cordon and when the bowler was in his run-up, the latter started singing Punjabi song loudly. Everyone burst into laughter as the batsman Tamim Iqbal had no clue what happened.

"We were playing in Bangladesh in 2015 as I was standing in the first slip and Shikhar was in third slip. Suddenly he started singing very loudly. The bowler was already in his run-up and the batsman, Tamim Iqbal, was left amazed. He didn't understand where the noise was coming from," Rohit told India Test opener, Agarwal, as Dhawan was in splits.

"It might not sound as funny right now but when it happened on the field we couldn't control our laughter, it was really funny," Rohit added.
