Amid the ongoing COVID-19 shutdown caused by the global Coronavirus pandemic, Indian Test wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha is busy in sharpening his wicketkeeping skills at home.

Undoubtedly, Saha is one of the best men for the role behind the stumps in the world and even he has often drawn praise from many cricket experts and former cricketers as well as the current India team skipper Virat Kohli for his brilliant glovework.

However, the experienced Bengal cricketer has been in and out from India’s Playing XI especially because of the emergence of Rishabh Pant and even he was also axed for the two Tests in New Zealand earlier this year, but he is still a big part of India's plans in the Test set-up.

Well, presently, there is no cricket all over the world with India among other countries that are under lockdown to curb the threat of COVID-19 pandemic, and Saha, like other sportspersons, is making the most of the forced break by keeping himself busy practicing his wicketkeeping skills.

The stumper has also shared a video of his drills on his Twitter handle while thanking India’s fielding coach R. Sridhar for his nomination. Saha shared a 45-second video wherein the experienced keeper can be seen throwing two balls against a wall and taking low catches.

He wrote on Twitter along with a clip: “Thank You @coach_rsridhar for the nomination. Here are some of my wicketkeeping drills which I am practicing from home,”

Noteworthy, Saha returned to India set-up after he regained fitness from the finger injury that he picked up during the pink-ball Test against Bangladesh at home last November.

But he is yet to make the cut to India’s Test XI as Pant was preferred for the New Zealand Tests. The keeper was also previously sidelined from the action for the nine months last year due to a career-threatening shoulder injury.
