International cricket fraternity condoles the demise of legendary Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor took his last breath at the age of 67 in Mumbai on Thursday morning.

Legendary Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67 in Mumbai on Thursday (April 30) after two-year long battle with leukemia.

In 2018, Rishi was diagnosed with cancer for the first time, following which the actor underwent treatment in New York for nearly a year. He returned to India in September 2019 after recovering.

Rishi Kapoor was hospitalised in Mumbai’s Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital on Wednesday (April 29) after complaining that he was not feeling well. He took his last breath this morning.

As soon as the heart-wrenching news broke out, international cricket fraternity mourned the demise and offered their condolences to the Kapoor family.

Among the fans, Rishi Kapoor was famous for his romantic roles in Bollywood films. He first burst onto the scene in 1973 with a blockbuster movie Bobby before going on to star in other box office smashes such as Khel Khel Mein, Karz, and Chandni.

The actor also garnered praise for his films like Heena, Mulk, Deewana, Amar Akbar Anthony, Nagina, Laila Majnu among others.
