During a Question-Answer session on Twitter, a fan asked Ashwin: “a cricketer star you got nervous around when you met for the first time?”
In reply, the veteran off-spinner took the name of former Australian opening batsman Matthew Hayden.
It is worth mentioning here that Ashwin and Hayden have shared the dressing room while playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Hayden's fruitful career playing for CSK saw him score 1,107 runs at a strike-rate of 137.52. The southpaw also won two consecutive IPL titles with CSK in 2010 and 2011.
On the other hand, Ashwin represented CSK in 97 games, claiming 90 wickets. His best season was in 2011 as he finished with 20 scalps.
