With most countries going into lockdown, closing borders and issuing travel restrictions to contain the spread of Coronavirus pandemic, cricket has come to a grinding halt.

Amid the crisis, current and former cricketers are trying different things to beat the boredom. Recently, Scotland's wicketkeeper-batsman Matthew Cross displayed his golf skills by executing some unreal trick shots.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) too hailed his effort by sharing a video of his brilliant shot on Twitter. In the clip, the Scotsman can be seen bouncing the ball off three bats and into an empty can with his golf club.

As if Matthew Cross’s trick shot was any less, legendary South Africa cricketer Shaun Pollock joined the race and overshadowed the former.

The ICC also uploaded the clip of Pollock’s brilliance as he bounced the ball off four bats and into an empty can.

“Looks like @7polly7 has taken a lead here, @crossy16,” the ICC captioned the video.

Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen, who is also an ardent golf fan, was also left mesmerized by Pollock's chip shot.
