Re-tweeting a journalist's video of the unpleasant incident, Harbhajan wrote: "We Will find a cure for corona but how r we gonna find a cure for stupidity."
The accident took place in Jaipur’s Vaishali Nagar area. Thankfully, the fire was doused on time and there were no casualties reported.
Responding to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to challenge the darkness of Coronavirus crisis, people across the country lit lamps, candles for nine minutes after 9 PM on Sunday. Unfortunately, some folks went a bit overboard and burst firecrackers.
Harbhajan also showed solidarity in the fight against Coronavirus as he shared a picture on Twitter, lighting diyas with his wife and daughter.
India is currently under a nationwide 21-day lockdown to contain the spread of deadly virus. The lockdown will end on April 14.
As of April 6, India has recorded more than 4000 cases and 109 deaths due to Coronavirus, which has claimed over 69,000 lives while infecting close to 1,282,000 globally.
