Ricky Ponting posts 2003 WC bat photos; Twitterati asks 'where's the spring?'

There was rumour among Indian teens that Ponting had a spring in his bat's handle.

Ricky Ponting posted a photo of his 2003 World Cup bats and Twitterati began asking him where the spring was in those bats.

Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting played a match-winning knock in the ICC World Cup 2003 Final against India and there was a rumor among the teens back then that there is a spring in Ponting’s bat which allows him to score freely.

Indian fans got the right opportunity to ask him where the spring was as soon as he posted the photos.
