The world has come to a standstill with the Coronavirus outbreak spreading across continents. The situation is so grim that people are trying to stay indoors for the maximum amount of time.

Amid the growing COVID-19 concerns, former England cricketer-turned-commentator David Lloyd on Friday (March 20) urged the people to practice social distancing with a couple of hilarious tweets.

"If you’re in a pub F**k off home !!!!" Lloyd wrote on his official Twitter page.

After some minutes, the 73-year-old realised he shouldn’t have used the 'F' word and rectified his mistake with another funny post stating: "Stupid thing for me to say if you own a pub/bar etc close it !!!"

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson ordered all cafes, pubs, theatres, gyms, restaurants and leisure centres across the country to shut down indefinitely by Friday night but the move came pretty late as the number of confirmed cases in the United Kingdom has already reached close to 4000 with over 170 deaths.

Globally, 186 countries have been affected, more than 10,000 people have died and over 245,000 infected by the pandemic as it spreads rapidly to new territories.
