Sri Lanka cricketer Kusal Mendis is doing his bit by telling people about basic hygiene throw his influence. Being a public figure, the cricketer took social media and shared a video of him washing hands.

He took the World Health Organisation's (WHO) recently launched 'Safehands' challenge to fight against the coronavirus. Mendis posted a video of him washing his hands, but the video received criticism from fans. He had left the tap open while he applied soap on his hands.
"#keepyourhandscleenchallange @covid19 @WHO @OfficialSLC," wrote Kusal.
Fans responded to the video and urged him to not waste water and keep a check on tap as well.
