AUS v NZ 2020: In Pics – New Zealand cricketers sport retro jersey ahead of Australia ODI series

New Zealand on Tuesday (March 10) unveiled a retro-designed jersey for their upcoming ODI series against Australia.

The kit is similar to what the Kiwi team wore during the 1999 World Cup campaign and it getting a lot of attention on social media.

The official handle of Black Caps shared a picture of the retro kit on Twitter. The pace trio of Trent Boult, Tim Southee and Kyle Jamieson can be seen sporting the jersey and posing from backside.

In another post, ICC shared a photo of New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson, Boult in collage and asked the fans to rate the retro kits on a scale of 1-10.

Cricket Australia too joined the fun and posted a collage of Williamson and his counterpart Aaron Finch in retro jerseys.

It is worth mentioning here that both the teams will sport this 1999 World Cup jersey in the three-ODI series down under.

The first two ODIs will be played in Sydney on March 13 and 15 before moving on to Hobart for the third game on March 20.
