Akhtar and Zafar were having a conversation on Twitter about challenging each other.
Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar had banter with actor Ali Zafar on social media. The conversation happened after the two faced each other on the field. The two challenged each other to come one-on-one in the 22-yard.
Shoaib posted a tweet and wrote he heard Zafar is a cricketer. “Suna hai bara cricketer hai tu," read his tweet. To which, the actor responded saying he also heard you are a deadly bowler. “Suna hai bari bowling kerwaate hain aap", the response read.
Akhtar challenged Zafar as the conversation caught fire. He asked the actor to tell his place and time for a face-off. "Tu time aur jagah bataa. Aur phir aik ball touch ker k dikha," he tweeted.
Ali was ready for the game. The actor said he is already waiting for him on the ground. “Ground mein Intezar ker raha hoon. Aik ball mein bhaee kervaoon ga. 172 miles/hour", wrote Zafar.
Then came Rawalpindi Express' final tweet with a video where he got Zafar's wicket. He wrote, “Practice ker le rockstar @AliZafarsays. See you ;)”
Zafar responded saying he was born ready, but Akhtar still got better of him.
