Indian cricket came up with a new face in the 2000 ICC KnockOut Trophy, and his name was Yuvraj Singh. It was the start of a memorable journey for Yuvraj. His outstanding show in the Under-19 team brought him to the senior squad.

Yuvraj made his international debut against Kenya in the pre-quarterfinal. Personally, it was unfortunate for him not to get an opportunity to bat as India won the match by eight wickets. The youngster was slotted at number 5 to bat but wasn't needed after they won the game inside 43 overs.

It seems like the 37-year-old was going through the memories as he shared the picture from his debut tournament for India on social media.

"Major throwback to getting selected for the first time to play for team India????????. #proudmoment #pricelessmemory," he wrote, posting the picture.

In the picture, Yuvraj can be seen accompanied by Rahul Dravid and Vijay Dahiya. The game in which Yuvraj made his debut, it was also the first game for Dahiya and Zaheer Khan. India had reached the final of the tournament. They defeated Australia in the semi-final to face New Zealand for the trophy. But a close defeat against the Kiwis kept them away from the title.
