England women’s cricketer Sarah Taylor is considered to be one of the best wicket-keepers in the game today. She has amazed the fans and purists with her skills behind the stump. However, she has also struggled with mental health issues throughout her career and had to take time off from the game.

She is never shy of talking about the same and has become a beacon of hope for other sportspersons to speak about their mental health issues in open and recently posed in buff, wearing just the wicketkeeping gloves in the latest issue of Women’s Health magazine, which spreads awareness about the mental and physical health of females.

Anyone that knows me will know that this is a little out of my comfort zone, but I'm so proud of myself and grateful to @womenshealthuk for inviting me to be a part of this issue. - I've always had issues with my body and I had to get over a few in order to do this and it was completely empowering. Every other girl looks stunning ! - Please remember EVERY woman is BEAUTIFUL. - Thank you to everyone involved! - Creative Director @adamgerrard_whuk Photography @ianharrisonphoto Picture Director @frankie_hill_ H & M @emj.makeupartist #womenshealth #womenshealthuk #nakedissue #womenshealthmag #womenscricket

She talked about the issues she has encountered with her body. She wasn’t comfortable in the bold photoshoot but felt proud after sending across the message. Now she has done it once again and posed in the buff, where she can be seen topless, holding the bat along with the gloves, covering her private parts. She captioned the picture and wrote, “Waiting to go into bat like.”

Mental health issues like anxiety have hampered Taylor’s career as in 2016, she took an indefinite break from cricket at a time when she was all set to take over as the skipper of the national team from Charlotte Edwards. She again took a break from international cricket after the Women’s Ashes.
