The internet is buzzing with the #bottlecapchallenge nowadays. Many celebrities have taken part in it and shared their video on social media sites.

The challenge is to open the bottle cap without using hands. While most of the people have tried to kick and remove the cap, cricketers have started a different trend to take away the cap.

Former India batsman Yuvraj Singh recently took this challenge and successfully removed the bottle cap by hitting a tennis ball with his bat. After showing his magic, Yuvi nominated Brian Lara, Shikhar Dhawan, Chris Gayle and Sachin Tendulkar to take up the #bottlecapchallenge.

On Thursday (July 18), Dhawan carried forward the same challenge and posted a clip of it on Twitter. The southpaw picked up his bat for the first time since thumb injury and successfully removed the cap from the table.

“Yuvi Paaji, here is my #BottleCapChallenge! This is the first time I am picking my bat up after my injury..feels good to be back! @YUVSTRONG12,” he wrote in the caption of the video.

It is worth mentioning here that Dhawan had fractured his thumb after being hit by a Pat Cummins bouncer during India’s World Cup clash with Australia last month. The injury was so severe that the left-handed opener got ruled of the showpiece tournament in which India reached the semi-final.
