Twitter mercilessly takes dig at Hardik Pandya after his pre-Asia Cup picture

India will be playing their first Asia Cup game on September 18 against Hong Kong.

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya had to face a lot of criticism after he shared a picture of his new look on Twitter. Fans are currently upset with the result of Test series against England --which they lost by 4-1.

Hardik was dropped for the last Test after a mediocre performance in the series. Except for a match-winning fifer and half-century in the third Test at Nottingham, he looked pale with both bat and ball. 

In the fourth Test, Pandya picked up only one wicket and scored just four runs overall, resulting in his omission from the last Test.

The Gujarat cricketer is gearing up for the upcoming tournament, Asia Cup at UAE. While sharing the picture he wrote, "Back to India ???????? gutted with the result but it was a well-fought series ???? and good to be back home for a couple of days before we fly again for Asia cup in few days time !"
