Indian cricket fraternity rejoices the Asian Games 2018 gold medal win of 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary

The whole nation of India was made proud on August 21, 2018, when 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary won the gold medal in 10m air pistol in the ongoing Asian Games 2018 at Jakarta-Palembang.

Chaudhary became only the fifth Indian shooter to claim gold in the Asian Games history. Chaudhary also set a Games record with his sensational effort.

Chaudhary, competing in his first senior event snatched the lead from 2010 World Champion Tomoyuki Matsuda on the penultimate shot in the 24-shot final.

Along with Chaudhary, Abhishek Verma shot 219.3 to secure bronze.

The Indian cricket fraternity was amazed by the maturity shown by 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary to win the gold medal and sent him wishes on Twitter.
