Krunal Pandya is a slow left-arm spinner.
Krunal Pandya recently featured in India A’s tri-series in England, with England Lions and West Indies A being the other teams. The Shreyas Iyer led India A side won the 50-over triangular tournament by defeating England Lions in the final.
India A faced England Lions thrice in the event, including the final and in one of the matches Krunal intentionally bowled a bouncer to a batsman. Such was the pace and bounce in the delivery that it hurried the England Lions batsman and hit him in the elbow.
On Wednesday (July 18), Krunal, who is a left-arm spinner, shared the video of that delivery on Twitter and captioned it as: “Why should fast bowlers have all the fun?”.

Endorsing Krunal's caption, Afghanistan’s ace spinner Rashid Khan replied in that amusing post, stating: “Exactly we should work on it”.

Krunal, who is the elder brother of India all-rounder Hardik Pandya, was recently drafted into India’s T20I squad against England as a replacement for injured Washington Sundar.
While Krunal didn’t get an opportunity against England, he is widely regarded as one of the promising cricketers in the domestic circuit. The 27-year-old has impressed one and all with his all-round skills in IPL.
Krunal has played an instrumental role in Mumbai’s IPL triumph in 2017 whereas his List A record is also impressive. In 31 List A matches, he has amassed 862 runs at an average of 33.15 and has picked up 31 scalps with 1 four-wicket haul.
