Onions had made a prediction for England vs Panama FIFA World Cup 2018 match.
The consequences of losing a bet can be embarrassing sometimes. English pacer Graham Onions experienced it recently. The man of his words had to fulfill his promise after a football game in the on-going FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.
The 35-year-old had predicted that the Panama team will have at least one man sent off in the game against England. “England are brilliant…Panama aren't. If Panama don’t have a man sent off in this game il bowl in my underpants tomorrow," he tweeted.

But Panama kept all 11 men on the field during their 6-1 defeat to Gareth Southgate’s side and as a result, Onions was forced to bowl in underpants.
Ahead of day two of Lancashire’s Specsavers County Championship Division One match with Hampshire at Old Trafford, the "Red Rose" tweeted pictures of Onions warming up in his underpants.
