Perry played for IPL Supernovas in the recently held Women's T20 challenge.
The trend of intense fitness regime is not restrained to male athletes anymore. Nowadays, the female cricketers also sweat their heart out to remain fit and fulfill the demand of international cricket.
On Wednesday (June 13), star Australia all-rounder Ellyse Perry posted a video of her intense training session on social photo site Instagram. In the little clip, Perry can be seen cycling and then working out with a dumbbell. She also performed the squat exercise.
“A bit of training diversity with some high intensity/CrossFit movements,” Perry wrote in the caption of the video.

Recently, the BCCI took a huge step towards popularizing the Women’s cricket by organizing an IPL-alike tournament for female cricketers.
The two teams were dubbed as IPL Supernovas and IPL Trailblazers. While Harmanpreet Kaur led the Supernovas, Smriti Mandhana led the Trailblazers. The Supernovas had renowned international players like Ellyse Perry, Megan Schutt, and Danielle Wyatt. The Trailblazers side were formed of international stars like Alyssa Healy, Suzie Bates, and Lea Tahuhu amongst others.
