Virat Kohli’s wax statue is all set to be unveiled at Madame Tussauds, Delhi on Wednesday (June 6). The Indian captain himself confirmed the news through his official Twitter page.

On Tuesday (June 5), Kohli took to micro-blogging site Twitter and posted a video with the caption: “Come 6th of June, let’s play statue! ???? Excited to be at #MadameTussauds ???? #TussaudsDelhi @MadameTussauds @tussaudsdelhi.”

In the 9-second long clip, Virat said: “Hi guys… Are you ready for some selfies? You can now find me at Madame Tussauds 6 June onwards. I am really excited to share this news with you. So come bowl me out.”

With this honour, Kohli will join sports personalities like Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Lionel Messi, David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo, whose figure have already been featured in this renowned sports zone.

Virat is currently going through the rehabilitation period after suffering a neck injury, which also ruled him out of the county stint with Surrey. He recently led Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2018. Although RCB didn’t perform to their potential in the cash-rich event, Kohli enjoyed another sensational campaign with the willow. He scored 530 runs in 14 innings with 4 fifties and finished as the highest run-getter for his team.
