Rizwan was dismissed for 15 runs off 46 balls as Pakistan collapsed in their chase of 268.
The dismissal and the moments leading up to it were marked by high drama. In the 38th over, as Rizwan was settling at the crease, Bangladesh wicketkeeper Litton Das was caught on the stump mic mocking him.
Litton aimed a sharp sledge at Rizwan's reputation, suggesting he would play defensively to avoid backlash at home.
“They are now trying to save the Test. They have no chance of winning. Rizwan’s reputation is really bad back in Pakistan. If he gets out trying to hit a big shot, he won't even be able to set foot back in the country — his reputation is that bad,” Litton was heard saying.

Following the unsettling sledging, Rizwan was eventually removed by lanky Bangladesh pacer Nahid Rana. The dismissal was described as bizarre, involving a "brainfade" moment where the Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter left an inswinger that went on to crash into his stumps.

Coming to the match, Bangladesh declared their second innings in the first session on Day 5 after scoring 240/9, setting a target of 268 runs for Pakistan with 76 overs remaining.
However, the Shan Masood-led visitors suffered a miserable collapse in the fourth innings, getting bowled out for 163 in the final session.
This result marked Bangladesh's maiden home Test win against Pakistan and their third successive victory over them in red-ball cricket.
